The CLD Partners’ Strategic Plan 2015-18 has gone through its approval process and is available to download. It has been approved by partners’ boards and committees and was endorsed by the Dumfries and Galloway Strategic Partnership. We hope partners and third sector organisations will find it interesting and helpful. In the near future the partnership will develop an implementation plan to take forward the actions in the strategic plan.
We have recently completed an Impact Assessment on the CLD Partners’ Strategic Plan. The Impact Assessment is designed to help us think about the different aspects of equalities, Human Rights, environment, economy and health. We hope it will improve the quality of services we deliver as the strategic plan is implemented over the next 3 years.
The consultation period for the Community Learning and Development Partners’ draft Strategic Plan has now ended. Partners are grateful to everyone who took the time to share their views. They have reviewed all comments received and made changes to the plan which reflects the feedback. A summary of the feedback may be found in the report attached below.   Consultation Feedback Report

This briefing provides information about the new Community Learning and Development Strategic Partnership and its work to meet the requirements for Community Learning and Development (Scotland) Regulations 2013
For the first time Community Planning Partners have a statutory requirement to produce a plan that sets out our joint approach to community learning and development (CLD). Our plan is setting out how we work with our communities to agree the best ways to make a difference to the lives of people living in Dumfries and Galloway.
